A meeting of parishioners was held in November, 2006, to consider the plans for the building of the new Parish Centre in 2007, as well as plans for adapting the church and maintaining our ministries during the period of building when we were without other facilities. The possibility of using volunteer labour of parishioners was addressed and a provisional list of items which may be suitable as gifts or memorials was discussed.

Members of St John's Youth Group sit down to supper after a night of games and activities, as well as a session in the church planning the forthcoming Christmas Children's Service in which many of them were taking part.

The windows and eaves of the church underwent refurbishment and painting
since the start of October, 2006. The result looked wonderful.
We are grateful for the large and generous donation from a parishioner
who wishes to remain anonymous which has enabled us to carry out this work.
