At St John's we take our mission as a parish very seriously and try to bring
others to a saving relationship with God in Jesus Christ.

We also take seriously our call to support the mission of the Church beyond our parish.

At St Johns we pledge that at least 10 – 12% of our income is used to help the wider mission work of the church and those less fortunate than ourselves

In 2007 we:

Gave generously to the general funds of the Australian Board of Missions as well as the individual donations from parishioners by way of Lenten envelopes.

Aided the development of new Parishes in Aipo Rongo New Guinea

Supported the BanSong Children’s Home Korea

Supported Rev Dan Joyce and his work with aboriginals in Queensland

Supported Anglicare

Supported Bush Church Aid – as well as the individual boxes filled by parishioners

Supported Helen Hoskins in Tanzania through CMS

Supported the Hamlin Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia

Supported the Anglican Outback Fund

Supported Manly Hospital Pastoral Care

Supported Anglican Aid Abroad

Supported Kaddy Transport Dee Why

Supported Nungalinya College Darwin

Supported the Women’s Refuge in Dee Why

Supported St Christopher’s Home Fiji

Supported Friends of the Outback

Supported St Laurence House Sydney
